Lugji 1.2.0 — now on iPad 🎉

Lugji now runs natively on iPad: full-screen layout, all orientations, Split View multitasking — follow the live transcript on a big screen in your meetings and take notes with Apple Pencil. (Used the small-window version on iPad before? The window may remember its old size — just drag the bottom-right corner to enlarge.) There is also a new language switcher on the recording screen — tap to flip between Cantonese, Mandarin and English before you record.

Lugji 1.1.0 — new "Storage location" option

Don't want iCloud? You can now choose "On my iPhone only" in Settings — every meeting and note (including recordings) moves from iCloud onto your device, with every file verified before the move completes, and Lugji stops storing anything via iCloud from then on. Switch back to "Automatic" anytime and everything moves back to your own iCloud. Defaults are unchanged — if you do nothing, nothing changes.

Lugji 1.0.1 — Send to Lugoffice, News, and safer deletes

New "Send to Lugoffice (cloud AI)": hand a meeting or note's text to Lugoffice (a separate app) to generate a written document — you pick each one, you're asked before anything is sent, and you can remove the tag anytime. The audio recording is never sent. Also new: a 🔔 News button (it opens this page); swipe-to-delete now asks for confirmation on both meetings and notes; and the AI summary wording is clearer.

Sister app Lugoffice is now on the App Store 🎉

Lugoffice (a separate app) turns the text of your meetings and notes into finished written documents — minutes, notices, emails and weekly reports. ⚠️ Unlike Lugji: when you choose to, Lugoffice sends that text to a cloud AI for processing (the audio recording is never sent). Lugji itself stays 100% on-device with no server — two apps, two roles, and you decide what gets sent.

Lugji 1.0 is live on the App Store 🎉

Lugji is now on the App Store — Cantonese, Mandarin and English meetings, transcribed entirely on your iPhone, written straight into your own iCloud or the Obsidian vault you connect. No server, no account. Thank you for the support!
